I recently discovered the american sentence that was developed by Allen Ginsberg and felt I’d give it a go. It’s basically a deconstructed haiku that utilizes the 17 syllables without the traditional 5-7-5 format.
When I wake up in the morning, I pray for it to be a good day.
Just let me get through this day I ask. I beg. I plead. That’s all I need.
